Recommend my next coral!

'frogspawn green with pink tips' gets my vote. An oldie, but a goodie - easy to keep too. Always one of the first noticed and favorites of non-reefkeeping visitors to my tank. GL!

The hammer was $80 which I would pay over and over again its about a 5 -6 inch wall. I also get alot of compliments on my bicolor frogspawn, some heads are green some are purple and some are both.

Wow that is a GREAT price! Did you get it from a local reefer? I see you're in cleveland as well.

I think torches look great in high flow. They should be able to take the high light.
What about a pagoda cup. Should do ok under those conditions and has nice large frilly polyps that will sway in the water.
Note: all of these will look better if you have some kind of disruptor on the flow so it is not linear in one direction all the time.

I was thinking about a torch but was apprehensive because it says medium flow on most sites. I do have laminar flow from my koralias so that shouldn't be a problem. the pagoda cup is interesting too!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have a lot to think about for this weekend Supposedly the store I'm going to is having a sale so maybe I'll be able to get 2.

Actually, what I was saying is laminar flow might not be the best. Get one of those koralia deflectors that spin around. Your corals will look great as they get high flow, then low, then high again.
Straight laminar flow doesn't look nearly as good.

thanks for the tip. I think my flow is ok though. I don't get direct currents picking up my corals or anything. The way it is now the water sort of tumbles in the middle because the powerheads are on opposite sides. This creates a random flow in the tank. I'll have to take a video soon of how the corals move. I think the frogspawn looks the coolest the way it sways slowly around. Eventually I want to get those koralias on a wavemaker.
