Recommendation for a single SPS in a 127gal tank

I plan on a minimalist tank aquascaping and plan on a single SPS to play the central visual point. Which would you suggest?

You probably want something to grow big fast and be nice and colorful. I say a nice millepora.

Not necessarily, I'm patient and just want one spectacularly colored (primary color- blue) SPS offset against white sand, no rocks either, they will be in a rock refugium. Probably no fish either.

I have always loved the contrast between a huge colony of green slimers and orange caps personally. Minimalist and contrasting at the same time.

I think as a single SPS, stags and tall growing acros look the best. I would keep the eye out for nice stags, torts. The TOTM at the moment has a few SPS, but the most noticable is the green slimer. It looks incredible as a tall, big colony.

Is it ever possible to keep a tank w less, just a few corals? Have you seen a minimalistic SPS tank?

Have you looked at Cward's October 06 TOTM?

His is minimalistic but he has more than a single SPS colony but it should give you a few ideas.
