Recommendation on a pump for my chiller

So yeah, in need of a pump for my chiller. It's a ViaAqua Polar Bear chiller, model CC-25. Minimum flow is 100 gph and maximum is at 400 gph. I was thinking of going with a Maxi-Jet 1200 and calling it a day. Only because it's fairly small and the price is pretty reasonable. I figure By the time the water is flowing through it, it would be more or less 200-300 gph.

Any other recommendations? Remember, it must be compact as I am limited on space in my sump.

Can you not tee off your return pump?

That's my saving money suggestion...

Good option would be a panworld 40.... Nice quiet....

Or maxi jet could work but most chillers have a fair amount of back pressure. You might get some impeller chatter.

I do have that option but to rely on one pump for everything is a little too risky for me. I guess I am more about redundancy. The chiller will not be controlled by my Aquacontroller Jr., it will be plugged into its own outlet to prevent tripping the circuit in case of any overload.

For now I have it running off an MJ1200 and it has a little bit of chatter but it's an old pump after all. I'll probably order another one or two since I need them for mixing my saltwater.

I'll take a look at the suggested pump tomorrow.
