Recommending Top Off??

Since I am new here but in the "sport" for awhile a lot of new technologies have developed for salt water since the days I started.

I just set up a new 30 gal M-Tank and noticed the evaporation rate a bit more than my 15 gal nano. I have to top the sump off almost daily and this was something I really did not have to do with my other tanks. I been hearing about "top-off" controllers as well as home made ones to eliminate the daily job of topping the tank off..

I would like to ask those memebers out there what they think and any suggestions for me to use with my new tank on models or devices manufactured or home built.

As for the evaporation rate, it is hard to say..sometimes a few cups to maybe quite a few ounces daily or every other day..

I use a reef fanatic top off controller. You can get them from Salty Critter I believe. Mine has served me well for over 3 years now.

Thanks Mike, I been hearing and reading a lot about this store Salty Critter up north.. being from Canton, we really do not have anything remotely close that I feel is good for saltwater....we just have the basics...
