recreating the indigo dottyback?

i was wondering if a hobbyist, or someone other than Oceans, reefs and aquariums crossed the orchid (pseudochromis fridmani) and the striped dottyback (pseudochromis sankeyi) to create the indigo dottyback hyrid.

it was apparently an accidental cross. has anyone tried delibrately? how do you pair two fish from different species?!? :love2:

the indigo is fertile, but are all offspring from them indigo or is there a mix of more orchid or striped in there as well?

If I had to guess, I'd say that pairing would be the same for pairing of two fish of the same species. I would make whichever gender is dominant also the more dominant of the two species. It's just a guess though, I've never tried it.
