I posted sometime last week that my Red Blastomussa was sick, yet my water parameters, water flow, and lighting were perfect.
Upon suggestion from Reef Central, you said to definitely move the Blasto into a nuetrally lit area because they do not like bright light. I moved it into the front of a cave I have in my 180g; it gets ambient ligtht, but not as intense as being out in the direct MH/act light.
I also did one other thing. Now that the weather is getting colder, I am transitioning from my cooling fans to the heaters. I have stabilized my tank at a lower temperature - approx. 77 degrees. It was at around 80.
I don't know which it was, but my red blasto is back. It is out and looking very healthy.
Just one question: What food do you recommend?
