Well I was looking in my tank today and my birdsnest isnt doing to good neither is my monti and all these little bugs are on them. They arent red like the pics I have seen but I believe they are red bugs.

Just want to know if treating interceptor will harm
anemones
mushrooms
rics
zoas
acan
chalices

Just want to be sure before I treat.

Yes they will all be fine with the recommended dosages. Things that may not survive are pods, shrimp and crabs.

I'm not sure the nem, but I wouldn't risk it. It is suppose to harm invertebrates and that falls under that category. Be sure they are red bugs before treating. I had them once...they actually like kind of yellowish...the red part is the head from what I understand. I could see them with a flashlight. Red bugs are usually found on smoother SPS like acros. They tend not to like montis and birdsnest, but I guess if that's the only food source they will go for it. You may want to dip one of the corals and make sure it's nothing something else...like the translucent acro eating flatworms. I've found them on all sorts of SPS.

Thanks they look kind of like land louses but on a micro scale between the size of a copepod and a amphipod

the monti and the birdnests are my only sps.

Well, to answer your question about the nem... it should be fine, along with snails, stars, nudis, and cucs. I just dosed Interceptor a couple weeks ago, and my GB nem is doing fine along with the rest of my clean-up crew. I did loose my cleaner shrimp, and about half my emeral crab population.

However, I will offer this piece of advice. Before dosing, please try to post some pics of the pest you are reffering to in order to identify. The only reason I say this is because redbugs only infect certian Acros. They will not mess with montis or birdsnests. Typically, smooth skinned Acros will be affected the most. I'd hate for you to dose something that is not necessary, and risk loosing any pods, crabs or shrimp.

Hope this helps.
