Red bugs from

Jeremy Blaze

Former Reef Addict
Sunday I went to uncle bills greenwood. Never been, heard good and bad over the years. I liked the tank setups. Good selection, good prices.
Store was overcrowded with dry goods.
The staff seemed alright. Salt guy said he was just recently put in charge oc salt, and was trying to improve it. Even mentioned the bad rep they have had, and that he was trying to make the salt good.
I stared at some corals, asked a few questions, and so on.
Ended up getting 3 acropora frags. Good prices, good looking corals

I get hom. Start to acclimate them, and inspect the coral. I look as close as I can in the store, but somethimes, you can't get a great look.
Anyway, sure enough, everyone has redbugs, not infested but several on each coral.
Be careful.
I plan to contact the store and let them know of the problem.

Good to know Jeremy, I buy a good amount of salt items from them, will have to check them out, I dont have acropora corals so I hope im good!

Jeremy, also could you give me some details on your frag swap in november, I have been trying to find a salt club in the area but havent had any luck.

The frag swap is hosted by the Louisville MArine Aquarium Society. We have a lot of members in Southern Indiana as well. The swap will be at The Holiday Inn Lakeview in Clarksville, IN.

Good info, thanks! I almost bought an acro or two there a few days ago. Glad I resisted the urge! GL!

You are in the INDMAS club forum. They are a great club and should be pretty close to you.
