Hi,

Through a quick google search, I see that Interceptor is no longer being made. What is the protocol now for treating of this? I plan on calling my vet tomorrow to see if there are any reserves there, or what the deal is.

If there is no way of obtaining Interceptor, what can we do? Thanks.

Try your local fish store. I was surprised when one had it where I live. I have also seen others asking the same question as you on the forum. There are other flea killing pills you can get that has the same active ingredient that interceptor has.

I came across a Canadian vet care site that claimed to have it. I called and question the availability.

Yep, I just found a website from canada that sells it. Im going to email them and see if I need a prescription from my vet, and still check with my vet to see if they have any reserves or not.

I don't know that there is anything that can be used in tank. There is a long thread here, I think in the pest forum about using Bayer advanced bug killer. I have used it on multiple SPS with success. It has also been good for seriously disterbing flatworms.
