Interceptor is the only way to get rid of them a 100% of course following the right dose and intervals. They can host on rocks and and if you have a broken pice of acro under a rock they'll be there too, they can be anywhere in your tank. Without a acro for a host they will die but as long as there is a acro they wont go away. A dragonface pipefish might keep them under control if it lives but wont get rid of them. Do your research before your attempt Interceptor cause there are strict rules to follow when dosing.
RED BUGS! Aaaawwww that sucks, ya I have talked with peeps that have used heart worm medication for dogs. They said it worked well, but no first hand experiences with them there nasty little critters. If I was you, I would talk with Erick @ Clarks he is very knowledgeable when it comes to pests in the tank. Got to go I need to check my tank, all this talk is making me nerves. late
well I have done some seaching and from what I've read I will lose all crabs, shrimp and small crustans( copapods and such). Dosage seem to vary but they are saying get the dosage for the big dogs and 1 tablet for 200 gallons. I will need to do a water change 4-6 hrs after and another the next day. With another teatment in a month to make sure all are gone. The way I like to trade I will probly get some the next week lol.
the dragonface pipefish seems to only be available once a yr. and some don't eat them specially if there is easier food around. Cute little guys though. I may see if Rob or some one can order me some anyway. Live aquaria sells them for 20. but doesn't have any now.

Aaaa i seen youv'e done your reshearch, you are on it! I wouldn't worry about losing pods and stuff they will colonize again the bugs will not. Now the hardest part is obtaining the large breed pills.
