So wayne hooked me up with this awesome little bugger and said that it likes to be in the dark. I put it in a cave but I think after reading that It does best in high flow areas, also known as not the cave, so I am conflicted! It is all bentover and looks like it is reaching for the light and a better flow area. Can I move it out of the shade in favor of better flow?

I'm not sure... the Red Chile police may come get you if you do. :D

/end of sarcasm

Wear it out, man. No one's gonna arrest you if you try something new. ;) If the coral looks like its trying to get a bit more light and some flow, oblige it. :) If it gets worse, just try something else.

Can't hurt to try!

Wayne knows far more than I do but, I have heard many different things about different corals. People say do this dont do that. Then you walk in someones house who is doing it "wrong" and their stuff looks great. Every coral is different play around with it move it some where and leave it there for about a week and see how it does. If it doesnt look good move it again till you know its happy. Sometimes they will suprise you on what they like.

chili corals don't like light...I'm pretty sure about that...the polyps open at night and the whole coral expands...shaded areas are the best

You can try to put it in some light in your tank as you do not have that high of light but I know my T-5 cooked it But I would think high flow may be right too as it was in my sump and that has high flow.
