ive been looking or a red fungia for years now and managed to get one by default. Ive been bugging this lfs an hour and a half from me for ages now because he had a tiny one in his display which he wouldnt sell me, he said keep calling and if i come across one.. So i did, never with any success. This weekend i called up, and one of his employes said yeah we got one. I jumped in my car and upon arrival went straight to his lps tank, all brown, green, and orange??? I questioned the manager who found the salesman i spoke with who's response was, 'well, this ones kinda red" NO! its brown mate!! Anyway to cut a long story short, the owner was saving one in his grow out tanks in the back and was planning on sending it to you guys over in the states, but decided to sell it to me instead for just $100!!! yeehaa!! Im so stoked, ive been looking for one for ages and dont know of anyone on my local board who has one. Its about 20mm in diameter and still attached to a tiny piece of rock. Since having it home ive noticed a tiny 4mm second fungia of the same color on the rock, hope it survives, has polyp extension so fingers crossed. Anyway heres a couple of pics..

Very nice score!

I've got a 3" Atlantis Aquarium hellraiser fungia that I've been growing out for a few years. It is one of my favorites. It is insanely red. I really love the red plates, and you don't see them that often.
