Red Hair Algae and Milli Problems

I can't seem to figure out what my issue is. I had one milli colony RTN and die off completely. Two others started to STN. I fragged and glued them which seemed to save them. I've also had a simultaneous outbreak of red hair algae on my rocks. My Montipora, Acros, and Porites are all fine and thriving. All parameters have been stable at:

Calc = 440
Alk = 7.9
Mg = 1360
Salinity = 1.26
Temps = 80-82
Phosphates = 0.08
Nitrate = 0

Any advice here? The other thing to note might be the age of my bulbs. I have 3 250 watt 20k XM MH bulbs that are 7 months old. One died a couple of weeks ago and I replaced it.

As far as feeding/dosing goes I use:
Cyclopeeze/mysis for fish
Oyster Feast - once a week
KZ Trace Elements - once a week
KZ Pohls Extra - once a week
KZ Coral Vitalizer - once a week

I did a 25% water change and am thinking about turning the lights out for a few days.

Any suggestions for getting rid of the red hair algae? I'm going to try some mexican turbo snails, a tooth brush, and no light for a few days. Anything else?

Could you be experiencing a phosphate spike that's being masked by the red hair algae growth? You're running both bio pellets and GFO in reactors yet your phosphates are .08?

I'm relatively new to all this, so just something to consider :)

Not sure why the phosphates are that high. RODI unit is brand new. I run gfo, biopellets, and have a refugium with lots of chaeto. I feed 1 frozen food cube twice a day. 3 250 watt MH Lights run about 8 hours a day, PC lights run 4 hours a day.

Temps are a bit on the high side at 80-82 right now.

2 cubes a day? I hope you have a big tank with lots of fish. That's quite a bit of food for a tank to break down. Obviously since you got algae problems, you need to figure how to export the waste.

12 fish (6 are anthias) which is why I feed twice a day. Other fish are firefish and chromis. Tank is a 125 -- skimmer is rated for a 300 gallon tank.

How long has this tank been setup?

2 cubes for a 125gal tank I feel is too much. I have a 245gal with more fish and 4 anthias I use 1 cube and fishes are nice and healthy.
