I would really truly love to know how much red hornets are going for these days. i know they were once a pretty pennie, but are they really 10$ a head now? thanks

apparently, I guess alot of people are giving away hornets now to bring down the market which should have been done from day one

They're cheap because the market is flooded. $10 a head is too much locally.

maybe in your locale lmao... but not here... still about $20 a head if you can find them as not too many people have them... in New England anyways...

I've never even seen one, of course I am in the middl eof the US, so that isn't the most convenient place to find them either.

+1, there's quite a few groups of hobbyists now growing out and trading overhyped and overpriced corals among themselves and dumping them all at once to kill the market. Hopefully we'll be seeing more and more of it as we all get more organized

Any groups already doing so please pm me, been trying to get in touch. If you're not already doing so I'm not the dude to pm, your reef club is :)

Red Hornets in LA @ Vivid Aquariums are $100 per head...I was on the waiting list--removing myself now LOL

and the misconception that they grow slow, is silly i think... i started with 2 polyps less than 11 weeks ago, i now have over 25 and counting... same thing with my rastas... started with 5 in May, and i now have over 45...
