Red Linckia Sea Star "?"

So I have had my Linckia for about a week now and it is an awesome color and love having it in my tank but all it does it scoot over the the glass and climb all the way to the very top of my tank... and just sit there for days...


Is this normal, or should I be concerned??

not sure I have read that starfish may take a while to adapt to new tank

The fact that it is moving and hasn't dissolved yet is, to me, a good sign. There isn't a lot of definitive knowledge about what tropical sea stars eat, and with them being somewhat delicate when being transported from ocean to tank, continued life isn't always a given. I hope it works out for you.
