I was told it is dragon's breath but does anyone know for sure?

Me too but I saw some with orange on the tips or so.

The orange on the tips is also something Dragon's breath does. It's a very pretty macro

Yours is a different kind. It's still a type of halymenia, but not dragon's breath. I have both types, and they're both very pretty, but you won't get the orange tips on this one.

I've seen it sold as dragon's tongue. Dragon's breath is the only type of halymenia (to my knowledge) that has the orange tips.

A couple of other Halymenia species get the new growth showing up as yellow or orange tips. Halymenia floresia is a cool one. Kind of like a sheet of paper that waves around. I have had some get the shiny new growth and some not.

Halymenia durvillei does have quite a few varients I have seen over the years. I find the kind that you have is much more rigid than the normal "flame" algae. I sell this one as Dragons Tongue or Halymenia sp.
