So I bought about 50lbs of live rock from a guy yesterday for $75. His tank has been up and running for around 10 years. Some of the rock is covered with a thick layer of what I'm assuming is macro algae. It's red in color and is shrub - like. Very thick.... I thought it may be dragons breath but it has no orange tips and seems more intertwined than most dragon breath photos I've viewed. Any ideas? I will post a pic once I get home. I'm guessing it's good to have and I shouldn't brush/pull it off the rocks....
