Red Mushrooms ?

This is my first tank, At the LFS the red mushroom looked great ,open and nice color. Now in my tank doesn't seem to want to open up. One quarter the size. Water perimeters are good, other corals are good. Any sugestions.

It could be where it is at. Try placing it in a different place. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, that's what I have been doing. The piece is fairly new, 3-4 days. I will wait and see.
I did notice my calcium was little low 340 and alk is low too, I added some buffer.

Hey,

Did you acclimate and for how long? Give it a few days to a week in one location. Constantly moving them around causes stress and may be the reason that it has not fully expanded. Another factor may be differences in water movment between your tank and the LFS.
