This Friday I'm having a Red Sea 250 installed. Its going to have LR and LS and have chosen to go with a refugium in the sump. The sump is not large enough for a refugium and a protein skimmer and the sales folks said I do not need a skimmer until I start with coral (which will hopefully be in the near future). The store had the exact same setup I purchased with coral and no skimmer.
Questions:
What suggestions do you have for installing a protein skimmer on/in a Red Sea 250?
Is my decision to go with a refugium initially correct?
Should I go ahead an add another sump and install the protein skimmer now or wait until later?
