Red Sea Cleaner Wrasse FS

I have a Red Sea Cleaner Wrasse for sale for $20 or will trade for a frag. Don't let the name fool you cause it is not really a cleaner wrasse. Well it's a cleaner wrasse while a juvenile but then stops cleaning as it matures and feeds only on SPS polyps! I paid $39.99 for it at Wet Pets. It's a great fish but it had to go. He is currently living in my sump. I made the mistake of just looking it up as a plain cleaner wrasse Some of the sites still have it as reef safe :shock:

Yea Wet Pets has a history of doing that, had the same happen to me. After I got him out of my reef (and he killed off several SPS) I "weakened" him and fed him to my grouper in my FOWLR tank.....Ahhhh revenge was good....

I will most likely just take him back Monday or Tuesday and get some store credit for him. I am going to ask them to label him a "Red Sea sps eatin' cleaner wrasse"

Fish no longer for sale. I am returning to Wet Pets. They are going to give me full in store credit.
