Red Sea Coral Color

Has anyone used these with any success? I picked up the Potassium one today and I have a couple of questions that concern me. The box states that it is for enhancing red colors. However, just about EVERYTHING I've read says that Potassium enhances blues and purples. Why the difference?

What does Boron do?

Is there a general way of dosing this? The instructions are contingent on using the other Red Sea products as well as Calcium uptake which I assume COULD differ from product to product. I am not about to throw away all of my A and B just to buy the Red Sea brand. I am happy with what I have now (B-Ionic).

Also, since my A & B are on a dosing pump, how can I measure the amount of calcium consumed? Would this be based on how much my dosing pump is set to dose each day?

I guess what I am asking is, can someone simplify this for me?

I chose the Potassium product simply because I use Aquavitro Fuel religiously as it has proved itself to me time and time again. However, Fuel does not appear to contain Potassium. But it seems to contain all of the trace elements that are available in the remaining Red Sea Color products. Can anyone verify this?

I have been using it for the past 4 months and have seen improvements in my coral colors. You do not need to convert to Red Sea 2-part, I use Randy's mix. You should be able to figure the amount of calcium you add from the duration you run your dosing pumps (multiply the duration you run the pump times the output of your pump times the percentage of calcium in the solution).
