Hello everybody.
I recently picked up an old red sea max 250. It was a bit neglected by previous owner and needs a bit of work. The skimmer that is in it {not the original one} isn't working and it doesn't fit quite right anyway. I was given the original skimmer but there is no impeller in the pump.Should I buy a new impeller for 50 bucks and hope the pump is still working or should just get a new skimmer.I am under the impression that a Tunze 9004 fits nicely. Anybody out there use one of these in a rsm 250? Can you still close the rear hatch properly. I would rather not have anything sticking up out of the back.
