Anybody have one of these or seen one in person? Curious if the skimmer is any good? Seems like a pretty nicely equipped system!

i saw one at my LFS.....its a nioce tank fully equipped and u dont hav the problem with seeing things like heaters and powerheads in the background....about the skimmer idk but its expensive....i personally wouldnt buy it because all the special features it has i hav left over parts for if i wanted another tank....if u dont hav the stuff though get it, it looks like a great tank keep me updated on it if u do get it

I'm thinking about getting an aquarium for my office at work and I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these. The price isn't that bad if you add up what it would cost to buy the parts individually. In addition to that, everything is already integrated into the system so as to eliminate the unsightly equipment.

If it wasn't for the $650+ price tag and the fact that I could definately use the $650 I would spend on this system to buy equipment that I still need for the tank in my house first, I would definately buy one of these.

A Max has been running in my house for about 6 weeks now. I have to say this has been the easiest tank setup i have ever had. I did have an issue with the way the pumps mounted to the tank so i called Red Sea and they sent out a fix that works great. So far i am VERY impressed. I think the only issue i have with it is that it locks you in equipment wise. Although there is a cutout in the back so you can add a chiller, so im thinking i may use that to add a refuge under the tank instead.
If your looking for a very easy second tank or your just starting out and want to get you feet "wet" this is a good option.
