Red Sea Sailfin Tang

After seeing Jason's (yznhmr) tang I realized it's the fish I would like. Saltwaterfish.com has them on the site but out of stock, but only $39.99. MarineCenter.com has them for $79.00

Does anyone know of any local stores that have these available? Average price for one of these guys? Anyone selling their own?

Thanks,

Matt

Great Fish

Great Fish

My favorite of all times. There is a sailfin and a desjardine sailfin. I like the desjardine.

I got my last one at old town. Under $100. I know you can save $20 going to the burbs but sometimes I don't have 3 hours to kill and I have never ever had a problem with a fish from there.

I called Rod, he said he doesn't have any in, nor does he plan a fish order for a while.

The quest continues...

But no rush I suppose.

Can both of the sailfins be kept together? I just picked up a regular sailfin but think the red sea is stunning.

Ditto on Rod's and Deep Reef. Support your LFS's! Marinecenter.com and Saltwater.com won't come to your house to help with a problem when things go arwy. :D

t to the maxx2: What you have there is a Zebrasoma veliferum (standard sailfin). The RS Sailfin is a Zebrasoma desjardini. The ones with lotsa yellow are the regular sailfin, whereas the RS sailfin has orange in it (easier to tell the difference in the adult forms).

how about this one?

Very nice! I love those fish. It's one of my 2 favorites. Too bad my tank is only 4 feet long :( , otherwise I'd definately buy one.
