On Monday morning, one of my BTA balled up. This morning, the 2nd BTA balled up. Both reopened shortly after. Luckily they didn't decide to move. I have them for 3 months, and they have never done that before. There were a couple of changes to the tank over the weekend.
I added about 40lbs of live rocks and a large serpent starfish that I got from a local reefer. The water parms checked out. So the only thing I could think of is the starfish poking at the BTA while looking for food. Is that possible? Have anyone experienced this? I like the creature, but I'm sure my wife would love to see it disappear
