I've seen a few people use reef Ceramics for there tanks, It seems like a great idea because you have exactly the shape that you want. I mean it would be great to have a perfect column in the center of your tank without having to do anything. I have a few questions though
1. How long does it take to look like live rock?
2. Will it eventually offer any of the filtration advantages of real live rock?
3. How would you seed it with all the micro algae?
4. Would it be better to buy real live rock and try to make an outcrop instead?
