Does anyone know of any good software for logging our activities, maitenance and dosing schedules for our reefd. I have been keeping a notebook log but am looking for something a bit better, Any input is helpful.

PM me. I have an excel setup that is very simple and has some reminders, etc. Very Simple, but effective.

I also tried ReefCon Pro. I don't know if they still sell it, but you can try infinitysoft.net or Google it.

Well i was having issues with the refcon on vista, i am working to get around that. Thanks for all the assistance though.

Although I haven't tested this with Vista. It's written in .net 2.0. It's supposed to work on any windows that has the .net 2.0 framework installed. Just the basics but I'm willing to add some features if any one is interested. This is something I wrote to use but anyones welcome to it. It's free of course. It's on my downloads page. Just look for tcquarium. I know, stupid name, but I had to call it something.

You can find it here

I expanded an Excel template that somebody posted or sent to me years ago.
It tracks and graphs concentrations of all of the critical elements and ions as well as pH, alkalinity, etc. It also works as a decent log.

Send me an email or PM and I will send you a coipy

Any chance you'd be willing to share the source? I'd enjoy adding to it to suit my needs.

Hi Mark, I'm going to keep the source code closed at least for now. Just before I got ready to give it away. I added a few things to it that I thought people might use. One of them was an option to submit/download livestock profiles from a online database. I hoped in this way to build a livestock profile database for people using the software. Since it ties in to a mysql database on my website there would be some security issues if I were to release the code. I'm willing to continue improving this program if I get feedback on what people need in it. I'm not sure where to go with it at the moment. I'm always open to suggestions. Anyone is free to contact me if they like.

Hope this helps
Tom
