I am new to this hobby and would like some ideas for some reef compatible fish for my 55 gallon. My tank is still cycling but would like some fish stocking ideas.
I have eshopps HOB psk100H, 2 koralias 1050 with wave maker, 70 lbs of rock (30 lbs live and 40 dry), 40 lbs live sand. Will be doing a FOWLR tank and later add some live corals.
For sure be getting a pair of ocellaris clowns, no tangs as my tank is too small. What other fish tou recommend?
I also have my CUC crew list from john at reefcleaners.

there are many fish that are suitable for a 55g reef. i personally like a pair of firefish. their darting behavior is really cool to look at. anthias and gobies are good choices as well.

How about a bartlett anthia? Catalina goby?

You can keep a single anthias in a 55 but a harem would need more room. Almost all of your gobies and blennies are ok (except for the already mentioned catalina goby). I personally like the royal gramma for its vibrant purple and yellow. I also like the diamond watchmen goby cause it keeps your sand immaculate. Flasher and fairy wrasses are cool too. A school of chromis'. The ideas are endless. Go to www.liveaquaria.com and browse around to see what you like
