Reef link issue, need help setting up used reeflink

Hi, I got a used reeflink and 2 gen 2 radions from a buddie. i am having problems seting up the reeflink, i cant get it to connect via wireless or wired connection, i have programmed my radions via plugging them directly into my labtop which is a mac, the computer i have downloaded ecosmart live to is a windows, is the a problem? i am trying to reset the reeflink now, but im still having poblems, i am pretty technologically dumb as well. im sorry, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew,

The ReefLink will more then likely need to be removed from your friend's ESL account. Also, the ReefLink will probably need a firmware update. If you are still experiencing issues after trying both of those things, please call us directly. 1-800-785-0338 Ext .2
