Reef Link lost connection and won't reconnect

It looks like LED's 6, 5 and 4 are green. 3 and 1 are hard to tell but could be green or yellow and 2 looks orange. Yeah, I know orange is not a listed color.

When I try to refresh my devices nothing happens when I click on the button. No error message or anything just nothing.

I've tried to follow the trouble shooting guide but don't understand what it means when it says go to step 5 if you don't get 5 greens and a yellow when trying to reconnect. What is step 5?

I have started a ticket with customer support but I won't be home during normal working hours to discuss anything with them. Any ideas?

David,

It sounds as though the RF module may have come loose in your ReefLink. I would recommend following the steps below to resolve the issue:

1. Power down the ReefLink
2. Remove the grey sticker that surrounds the plug terminals on the back of the ReefLink
3. Remove the rubber foot from the bottom of the ReefLink
4. Remove the 3 screws from the bottom of the ReefLink
5. Remove the bottom plate and carefully disconnect the ribbon cable from the bottom of the driver board
6. Take the driver board out of the casing
7. On the top of the driver board is a green RF Module raised off the driver board
8. Remove the RF then carefully line up the pins and put back in place
9. Reassemble the ReefLink carefully and power it on
