reef meet soon

Well I need to drastically thin out my 220, it apears to have a very small leak on the rear seam at the bottom. no water coming out yet but salt creap forming at the bottom working up the side. Thought about throwing in the towel and scrapping it but could not do it.

I am currently looking at craigslist to find a standby tank to transfer stuff into to allow me to swap out aquariums. I do not want to risk a seam failure with a flooded basement and a lot of dead fish and corals.

So I would like to get corals chopped down to size before moving stuff around, large frags cheap prices, any money raised will help pay for this nightmare. Also free orange cap.

So if you are looking for stuff you do not have to wait for the meet just send a pm.

the meet will not be for a few weeks maybe a month as I would like to get the standby tank set up before the meet, and I have to go out of town the weekend of the 12th.

what don't I have is a better question,

I have a 220 that is loaded with numerous large sps and lps colonies, a few choices of zoos and ricordias. I probably have a better selection than most pet stores, too much to list. the focus is on the 220 as I do not want to mess with the other tanks too much.

If you are looking for something in particular just ask. I have several ORA colonies and other nice stuff. Most people in the club have been here and have an Idea, but the meet will be a chance for others to meet, and check out all my tanks.

It looks like I jumped to conclusions and was wrong, the 220 is not leaking it appears the water was wicking up from between the frame and glass. the water was getting there from my fowleri tang who enjoys splashing, it took a while for it to dry out.

I still need to do something about the overgrown tank and would like to have a meet sometime next month so keep an eye out.

Sounds good Jorge, also let me know what would be a good time in the evening to swing by on my way home from work one day :)
