I have a classic reef octopus skimmer (200). The pump will run for about a minute and then trip the GFI. Is it possible to find pumps for this skimmer? I don't want to buy another $300 skimmer - but I have had a hard time finding the pump to replace this. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Recently, all i see are posts about this. You buy a skimmer, it works great for a year or two and then your pump craps out. You search for the replacement pump, only to find out this model has been discontinued. So, my suggestion to you is to, buy a skimmer that you can use a non-modified pump or a multiple of different pumps. Tunze, Lifereef, AquaC. comes to mind.
