I'm going to be in Binghamton for an extended period over Thanksgiving, and was wondering if there are any good reef shops to hit up on my way out.

I lived there ten years ago, and about the only source was Rick @ Nature pets. I've been into SPS; so it's primarily what I'm looking for.

I live in Buffalo, now, and have a relatively good selection up here; but I'd love to find something unique down there to bring back.

Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Nothing compared to what you can get in buffalo. Your best bet is to meet up with some locals and see what they have available...

What kind of sps corals are you looking for a have quite a bit.

No local shops carry SPS. Best bet is ABC Reefs in Syracuse.

Syracuse is on the way home, I guess!

As far as corals go, I'd have to see what you have. (It's not a cop-out; I'm not into designer corals, just stuff with interesting growth patterns and colors.)

Im not sure if im free on that Sunday but ill double check and let you know. I think most designer corals are over rated but they're are some that ive bought and have been happy with. Abc reef sells alot of unique lps but just a few ora frags when it comes to acros along with chalices. For sps Buffalo is by far the best from my experience.
