k, so my job had developed into the kind of job where I'm literally never home, so it makes it hard to keep up on the aquarium. I'm not home to enjoy it much, and when I am home I'm stressed out trying to fix problems that popped up while I was gone. Even the guy who was supposed to take care of it while I was on tour was a flake and barely did any maintenance to it at all.
I'm selling all the rocks, coral, and other livestock (whats left), hopefully all at once. I'm gonna hang on to the hardware for now and hopefully get back into the hobby at some point, but if there is something you need just ask and I'll see about parting it out.
the tank is a 40 breeder
There are a few annoying problems I'm currently having with the tank.
First is minor: Cyano. Had a temp spike in the tank a few months ago that killed some coral and it's just now recovering. Also had a couple of fish die. Lately it has seemed to be receding.
Second is more serious: there are rock anenomies and they are super frustrating. There is another name for these too, but I can't remember what it is. They look cool at first, but I would reccomend against letting them into your display tank. If you take my stuff home I would think that you could probably avoid introducing them to the tank with a little care.
Third is on par with the last: I have a macro algae that is taking over and has to be trimed back constantly. I put it in there hoping to distract a coral nipping flame angle (didn't work), and now it's attached to some of the rocks. Again, you can probably work it out.
I would LOVE it if I can get rid of all of this at once. I would like to get maybe $700 for the lot (?) I haven't been keeping up on what things are worth through the recession; so feel free to negotiate.
no pics of the fish really. they are: O. Clown, Royal Gramma (good natured, not a bully), and a lawnmower blenny.
I think there is around 60 lbs of live rock... not sure on the sand.
