Reeffarmers' cryptic Sponge

am to run full zeo and add sponge power said to support the growth of sponge as filteration. so im gonna order some cryptic sponge from reeffarmers

ive never done any biz with em. presumably they r related to steve tyree, a big figure in the hobby so presumably reliable, huh?

more importantly, the sponge looks encrustin so will they fight with sps? will they overgrow and kill sps or will sps win the war by stingin em back?

any ideas please chime in

Pretty sure you'll want to utilize the sponge in a relatively calm, predator free environment. You may contact reeffarmers and see what they recommend. I'd set up a separate tank kind of like a refugium with moderate flow and a lot of rock.

i have some space in the sump but there wont be many rocks. i'll keep runnin a skimmer though

ive emailed to reeffarmers and am waitin for a response. upon gettin it--if i do--id wanna share

the seed rocks seem neat without bad hitchhikers im very afraid of. of never won a battle against em, in particular bubble algae and a small green stem algae. sry i forget the name of that. but that was the worse plague i suffered. that algae was small with a stem length of like 2 or even 1 inch? basically it was unstoppable,--imperishable:headwally:
