Reefkeeper Elite Screen colors

I just picked up a used Elite head unit. I was trying to change the color settings by going thru the different numbers. However it does not change colors. You can see the screen flip to a different shade, but nothing else.

So I did some research and found a titanium unit that didnt have that capability. Im wondering if that is the model I have why would I have the numbers to change the colors? Or is there a problem with the actual display?

Once you pick a color, did you press Enter and then scroll down an select Save?

Both units use the same firmware. What does it say on the front of the unit?

Reefkeeper Elite V2, I think that is what you were asking for.

I tried every color last night and like I mentioned above all the screen does is just change a slight shade, kind of like your messing with the contrast. I rebooted to factory settings when I got it. Would that have anything to do with it? I dont have the SID cable, but I ordered it so I can make sure I have the latest firmware, and label all the ports.

That would not have anything to do with being able to set color. What version do you have on the RKE?

It says revision 3.02, under system then info.

That is the current firmware. Looks like the only way to tell the difference is the Titanium is only white LCD, no color. It was a little less expensive than the RKE.

I'm guessing that is what I have then, or I have a broken screen. Oh well, not a big deal, just wanted to know. I do have a different question about the system though. I only get an amp reading on one of my pc4's. Even though I have all 4 outlets on both pc4's filled up. Are they not that accurate?

PC4's have a amp readback, but not all of mine still work. It is also sensitive to where it is placed. The new PB4's do not have the current readback.
