Do you guys have any info on the reeflo gold series pumps?

I've send the manufacture an email asking for more information on them. We are not aware of any new pumps by ReefFlo, but they might have something in the works.

Hi,

We got some info and prices today. They said probably around Jan/Feb they will be officially released. The specs look pretty nice, more flow, less wattage, higher quality components.

They are expensive though. This is tentative prices.

Man those prices are high. You could buy two pumps for that price.

Very true, I was surprised on the prices. They do use less electric, depending on model, can be up to 10 to 30% less wattage and they are saying the flow rates will increase as well.

I believe they will have a 5 year warranty too, but don't quote me on that, it might be model to model.

Thanks Jason. Did they ever produce the hammerhead needlewheel pump? I remember them being mentioned a while back but I never heard anything else about them.

Im glad they went back to the Baldors on the Darts. I wish they would do that on the regular ones.

We actually have a local customer running a Hammerhead with needlewheel. Was a prototype Jeremy was tested for them. Running a huge KR skimmer.

I don't think they have it ready for production yet though. I'm sure it will come out very soon though.
