Jeremy - Yes, both and more. =) We will have vendors all day, both hobbyists and businesses, then there are also discussion tables going on. This particular ReefSMART will begin with a field trip hosted by the Cape Fear Aquarium Society, they have a member that works for Marine Quest who can take people on a collecting trip before the expo. Trading is allowed by anyone, but only vendors may sell. Contact me at expo@sustainablereef.com if you would like to get a table - we have prices for both community vendors and main vendors.

Arthuric - I think it will be worth it! I am devoting a whole lot of time to advertising it, and we already have a pretty good line up of main vendors - the hobbyists always seem to wait until the last minute to sign up.

Sorry it took me a bit to get back with you - I was off polling. =) The results are in and here is our line up! We have not gotten back all the final titles yet, but I thought you might like the rough draft subjects -

Alright, there are the basics - we have just enabled enrollment, so make sure if you want a chair in a roundtable group you sign up for one! And don't forget to keep checking back as we start listing raffle items! There is a free door prize ticket to everyone who attends!

We will be posting lists of vendors soon - on the forums to the website. We even have a vendor coming all the way from Cali for this one! =0 I am hoping for more community vendors, though - hobbyists seem to sign up late!

I'm getting word that this event is canceled. Hopefully the OP will either confirm or deny this.

Yes ReefSMART has been canceled, but the area's local clubs are hosting a frag swap/collecting trip on that day, for anybody that had planned to attend. Cape Fear Aquarium Society, Crystal Coast Reef Keepers Association, and Myrtle Beach Saltwater Aquarium Club are hosting the frag swap and for more information you can find it here http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=16312129#post16312129 , thanks

Yes, the next ReefSMART has been moved to April - May in Raleigh - we simply could not drum up enough vendor support in time - the holidays seemed to grind everything to a halt. We are grateful that the east coast clubs has taken the opportunity to host a swap on that date, so that people planning to make the trip to Wilmington on Jan. 17th still have an event to go to!

We are thrilled to announce that all of our Wilmington vendors have committed to the expo in Raleigh already! This will be a huge show, and maybe once we have done a few more shows we can get enough vendor support in Wilmington to try again!

I will be posting a new announcement when I have an exact date and location for the Raleigh expo - see ya at the swap!
