Reefugium Stocking List

My new tank is currently cycling and this time I decided to do a 15 gallon tall reefugium with a deep sand bed. I have never had a reefugium this size and I would like to know what I should put in it live stock wise. I already have enough LR rubble in there and the chaeto will be transfered from my current tank.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks

Nick

hermit crabs.. best place for them.. they will eat whatever gets down there. some people put sand shifting star fish and maybe a fish but 15g is small for that.. its up to you.... let us know what you do and how you make out with whatever.

I think you have everything you need. You want to colonize pods in there and you dont want anything that will compete with or eat them. A fuge is really a place to export nutrients. If you have a display fuge, it might be cool to have something else like a sea horse and snails, if its hidden, chances are needful critters will get neglected. and it adds to the chance of something getting sucked into your return pump. Just my opinion.

Yeah I guess it was more of an idea to make it a little more interesting. I never really considered the pod population into the equation. I would not worry too much about something slipping into return pump as it is a completely separate aquarium from the drain/return.

Thanks

Nick
