Refractometer Question

I was going to get a refractometer from DFS. It looks like they only have 2, but there is a $70 price difference. Is it worth the extra $70? Thanks!

$41.99

Not in my book...seriously...I want the dang thing to tell me approximately how much salt is in my water and that's it.

You should get one with automatic temp correction (they might all do this, but I'm not sure). Some newer ones are saying to calibrate with a salt water solution rather than water, but don't buy any salt solutions (unless they're hella cheap) because I can make those for you at work any old day.

I didnt place our group order with Premium Aquatics last night. If you want to get one from there, let me know - save on shipping! Participation in group orders is limited to club members. We'll take your word for it if you say you will be joining soon (if you havent already).

I want to put the order in soon so let me know.

Don, can you add to mine:
Code: NET-3
Price:$0.29 (in the clearance section)

Hey Anch, the refractometer I bought from Premium Aquatics (who ships to us very quickly btw) is on the previous page of this thread.

Melly~ Can you make me up some calibration solution... I knocked mine out of whack a few months ago... I calibrated it with guilford, but I want to make sure its 100% accurate... :)

lol Calibration fluid for all!!!!!!!!! :D

Yeah, guilford the guy... (Brad) I need to PM him and see how all is going... :)

Yeah...Brad. That's what I thought his name was.

Someone tell me what concentration I need to make.
