Refugium OR LR?

I have a 125G FOWLR with 80lbs of LR. The over flow I have dumps into a 30G sump being skimmed by a ASM G-2. I have a 10G that will serve as a refugium to establish a pod population and have macro. Or is that overkill for my fowlr and should I just have LR rubble in the 10G and just have it serve as an added filter?

Ideas and comments are welcomed.
