Refugium Questions

I have been researching hang on refugiums for a while and am thinking about getting one for my Aquapod 24. I was thinking about getting the small Aquafuge w/ skimmer, and moving the my current Aqua C Remora to my 55g FOWLR so it can fit on the back. Does anybody know if the aquafuge is the best hang on refugium, or even if it is a good idea to get one in the first place?

I just bought a used ecosystem aquarium hob refugium. I was going to go a the Aquaclear mod and went to the LFS to buy one and I saw one sitting in their used section. Since sometime in the future Ill be family they sold it to me for $50 with sand and calerpa/chaeto. Its only day 2 so I cant give you any knowledge on how well it works. But I got to pull off my hob filter and now my powerhead is inside the fuge pumping water back to the display. So I got a lot of things that were hanging inside the tank out of it. Now all there is, is my heater, thermometer, inlet tube, outlet tube. Looks much nicer
