refugium

i want to know if it is better to use a refugium type set up for reef tank. i have a 92 gallon corner tank. if the refugium is a plus then what should i put in it and what is the maintenance

A refugium is always a benefit as it provides shelter for smaller creatures that are usually preyed upon, such as pods and worms.

It can be filled with a deep sand bed and macro algae to assist with reducing excess nutrients and nitrate.
