REgular styrofoam to support bottom of glass tank ok? URGENT!!!

Coudln't find any pink kind, I found the regular white styrofoam only. Will that work?

I already bought the white one, HD is 15 miles away, if the white one would work then I'll just use it.

Is your tank custom built? generally anything that you buy at a store, that has a black plastic frame, it is not recommended to put styrofoam underneath it.

White will work fine.

It's a custom Starfire tank, had to replace the back and the bottom glass, when I put it back together I skipped the black trim cause they broke in the process of removing. I couldn't find anywhere to buy those plastic trims so I'm just going to skip it and use the styrofoams.

What's the purpose of putting foams underneath anyways?
