remove shroom from plug?

I got a couple of shrooms from someone that are attached to a small piece of PVC. I'd like to remove them and put on a small piece of live rock. Can this be done safely, and if so, how? Thx

It can be done with forceps. Gently, but firmly grasp the stalk/stem of the mushroom, and carefully peel it away from the PVC. I've seen my lfs do it a few times with great success, just be careful.
Use bridal veil and rubber bands to attach to rocks.

My hesitation would be that mushrooms produce a lot slime when they are handled and its not easy getting them to to attach to a rock- forget glue- it just does not work with the slime. Netting them to a rock is the best technique but I have had really poor luck with this technique. You can remove the shrooms and place in a tray with rubble and let them attach on their own, then glue the rubble piece to a rock. The alternative would just be to let the shrooms overtake and cover the pvc.

Key to getting the mushroom to reatach is to keep it in a low flow area. I put them in a tupperware full of rubble and set it on the sand bed. The tupperware blocks most of the flow.

I have been very successful with the superglue gel...but you definately have to put them in a low flow area for a week or two...I also take a paper towel and dab the underside of the shroom before I put the glue on....a little on the shroom and a little on the rock where it is going.......good luck

Rubble... great idea!... the shroom has to attach to one of the rock, then you take that particular rock out and place it
