Removing algae

There is a pink algae on the walls of my tank and it is really difficult to remove. Is this coralline algae? How do you remove this algae?

Most likely. Happens on all tanks. I use a razor blade at a angle. just be careful not to scratch glass.

i use a two foot attachment that can attach a razor on the end of it.

The best scraper I've ever owned is this flip scraper. It has a bristle side and when you flip it over the other side has a plastic scraper blade. Really works well.
