removing bta's

my tank is now overrun with bta's . i must now have 24 in my 33 long. i have a market for them but i can't get them loose from the rock. pointing p,heads and creating dark areas doesn't seam to work. i'm open to all ideas

Have you tried taking each rock out - holding it upside down over a bowl of water with the anemone hanging in the water but the foot exposed? I've heard they will release this way?

Can we see a pic of the tank now before you get rid of them all?

I've removed my RBTA the way kimsie said but I just did it in my tank. It works well but be patient cause it will take awhile. I found it doesn't work well with the smaller ones as they don't weigh enough to really make them want to release.

Hello,
If you can get down to the base, where the foot starts you can gently work your fingernail underneath and slowly work them off.
It is nervewracking the first time, but not a huge deal. This is all based on if you can get to the base, in a tank where they have planted their feet in tiny crevaces it is tough to get to the feet.

i heard easiest and quickest way to get them off is to lift them upside down above water and if they want to be super-man get a ice-cube and rub it around its leg and it will drop off.
ice cube last scenario.....

If you're in a position to do this you can take a small ice cube and put it NEAR (not touching the flesh) the foot and it should make it easier to get up under the foot since the anemoen will not like the cooler water suddenly near it.

i wouldnt mess with the base at all if you tear the foot they are all but done for if possible i would remove the rock and maybe break it ino smaller peices but if this is not possible be very gntle with the foot!

I have heard you can sometimes get them to let go by pointing a very powerful ph right at the base. If they don't like it they will let go and you can grab them.
