removing gsp from rocks

How the hell do i remove the stuff. i cant use search and this stuff is spreading to fast. Irritated one of my nems and made it move. ANy help appreciated.

truthfully, you probably will never remove it all. best bet is to take the rock it is on and leave it outside in the sun for a week or so and then scrub off any remains.

i've tried rubbing it out with my thumb, ripping it out, etc. if you leave a tiny sliver of mat on the rock, they'll grow back. goodluck, man!

this sucks its on a couple of rocks that i really like. Nice large middle rocks covered in coraline. I have tried getting under it, but it just breaks off in little pieces.

If it isn't a huge area, try putting superglue over the affected area.

You can also try pulling it out briefly and scrubbing it down with a wire brush. That's what I do to Xenia. You can try a toothbrush first. Do it outside of the main tank or the little bits will land somewhere and start over.

Anybody try kalk paste or Joe's Juice on the remnants?

Try putting sand on top of it on a low flow area. I notice they hate it and eventually die off.
