Removing larva from broodstock tank

I had a question about how to move the larvae from the broodstock tank to the growout tank. I have a diagram of my tank design on my gallery. One tank is the broodstock and the other two are going to be growouts. I read Joyce D. Wilkerson's book and she has a diagram of how to do this but it was sort of confusing. I would like to do it somehow where I can pull them from the broodstock and they land in my growouts so it minimizes stress on them.

I used to scoop them by flashlight or siphon them. You can build a larva snagger if you are so inclined. Directions are in Wilkerson's book and on this site.
