Well, I've looked up threads with methods to remove an anemone, and what I just did was the bucket method. I let it hang with the tips in the water over the bucket. Well, it really extended itself but had no desire to let go. So I then started to use a plastic card and worked on the foot for about an hour until it let loose. I acclimated it to the new tank and it grabbed hold of a rock instantly, and the tentacles are out and bubbled (just smaller as if it needs to absorb some water).
My only concern is that the mouth is wide open. I don't know if I did that or it was like that in my other tank. It had just split into two not too long ago.
Is that somewhat normal after undergoing some stress?
